Greater Chennai Corporation Recruitment – District Health Society – NTEP  Invites Online applications for the recruitment of 89 Lab Technician, Pharmacist, Data Entry operator (DEO), Counselor (DRTB Centre), TB Health Visitor, Senior Treatment Supervisor, Senior Tuberculosis Laboratory Supervisor, District PPM Coordinator, Medical Officer  Posts.  Before applying for the recruitment, candidates must carefully read the notification and ensure their eligibility.

Qualification :

Medical Officer – (DTC) 

MBBS Degree from medical College recognized by Medical Council of India and duly registered in Tamil Nadu Medical Council/National Medical Council

Medical Officer – (Medical College)

MBBS Degree from medical College recognized by Medical Council of India and duly registered in Tamil Nadu Medical Council/National Medical Council

District Programme Coordinator

1. MBA/PG Diploma in management/ health administration from a recognized institute / university
2. At least 1   year   of   work Basic knowledge of computers

District DRTB- HIV Coordinator

1. Bachelors degree in Science
2. Certificate course in computer operation (minimum two months)

Permanent two wheeler driving license & should be able to drive two wheeler

District PPM Coordinator

1.MSW/ M.Sc Psychology- Post Graduate. 2.One year experience of working in field of Communication/ ACSM/ Public – Private Partnership/ Health projects/ Programs

3. Permanent two wheeler driving license.

Statistical Assistant Cum DEO- (Nodal DRTB Centre)

1. Graduate in statistics with Diploma in computer application or equivalent recognized by the Council for Technical education 2.Typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English and Tamil.

3. Should be conversant with MS Word, Excel and statistical packages.

Senior Tuberculosis Laboratory Supervisor (STLS)

1. Twelfth (10+2) and Bachelor’s degree in
2. Diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technology Recognized by DME Permanent two wheeler driving license.
3. 2 months Certificate course in MSWork experience in health facility at least for one year.

Senior Treatment Supervisor (STS)

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Recognized sanitary inspector’s
2. Certificate course in MS Office. Permanent two wheeler driving License.

Data Entry operator (DEO)

1. (10+2) with Diploma in computer application or equivalent recognized by the council for Technical
2. Typing speed of 40 p.m in English and Tamil.
3. Should be well conversant with various computer programme including MS Word, Excel and simple statistical packages

Lab Technician (LT)

Twelfth (10+2) and 2 Years Diploma course in Medical Laboratory Technology Recognized by DME.

TB Health Visitor (TB HV)

1. Graduate in science or Twelfth (10+2) in

science and two year course in MPHW/ LHV/ ANM/ Health worker. or

2. Tuberculosis health visitors recognized courseCertificate course in MS Office.

Pharmacist

1.Degree/ Diploma in Pharmacy.

2.1 year experience in managing drug store in a reputed hospital/health center recognized by Govt.

Counselor (DRTB Centre)

1.Graduate Degree in Social Work/Sociology/ Psychology

2 Basic Knowledge of Computer

Conditions of contract

• Place of work will be in Greater Chennai Corporation
• Contract Period is for 11 months
• The candidate shall not claim any rights for permanency in the contractual job. The employer is Chennai City Urban Health Mission Society and the contractual job is not directly with the Greater Chennai The contract may be terminated at any time giving one month notice on either
• • The Chennai City Urban Health Mission Administration reserves the right not to specify any reason for such
  • The selected candidates need to enter into an agreement with District Health Society –NTEP-
