CPCB – Central Pollution Control Board has released the recruitment notification to fill the 69 Scientist ‘B’, Assistant Law Officer, Senior Technical Supervisor, Senior Scientific Assistant, Technical Supervisor, Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Junior Translator, Senior Draughtsman, Junior Technician, Senior Laboratory Assistant, Upper Division Clerk, Data Entry Operator Grade-II, Stenographer Grade-II, Junior Laboratory Assistant, Lower Division Clerk, Field Attendant, Multi-Tasking Staff Post ,Before applying for the recruitment, Applicants must carefully read the notification and ensure their eligibility.

Qualification :
Scientist ‘B’ –
Essential: Graduate Degree in Engineering/Technology from a accredited University or Institution in Civil Engineering – 03 posts, Environmental Engineering – 04 posts, Chemical Engineering – 01 post, Mechanical Engineering – 01 post, Instrumentation Engineering – 02 posts, Artificial Intelligence – 01 post, Computer Science – 01 post, and Information Technology – 01 post Preferential: Master’s Degree in Engineering / Technology Or
Essential: Master’s Degree in Chemistry – 03 posts, Environmental Science – 03 posts and Microbiology – 02 posts from a accredited University or Institution
Preferential: NET Qualified / Ph.D.
Graduate degree in Law from a accredited University or Institution; and
ii. Five years of experience as a State Judicial Service officer is required; or
iii. must have worked in a state’s legal department for five years.; or
iv. Should be a Central Government servant, who has five years’ experience in legal affairs; or v. must be a licensed attorney with five years of experience in the field..
Note: The legal advice duration for the five years of required experience will be used to calculate the advocacy period.
Senior Technical Supervisor – Graduate degree in Instrumentation Engineering – 01 post, and Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering – 01 post with three years’ of experience in the relevant field.
Senior Scientific Assistant – Possessing Master’s degree in science from a recognised University or Institution with two years’ experience in relevant field. preferably at any reputable organization or institution that deals with pollution control and related topics.
Technical Supervisor – Graduate in Mechanical Engineering (01 post), Instrumentation Engineering (02 posts), Electronics Engineering (01 post), Electrical Engineering (01 post) with three years’ experience in the relevant field.
Assistant –
(a) Bachelor’s Degree from a accredited University or Institution.
(b) Shall pass the skill test on computer in English Typing @ 35 (Thirty Five) words per minute (10500 KDPH on an average of 5 (Five) key depressions for each word)/Hindi Typing @ 30 (Thirty) words per minute (9000 KDPH on an average of 5 (Five) key depressions for each word). Time allowed is ten minutes.
Accounts Assistant –
Essential:
(i) Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a accredited University or Institution.
(ii) Having worked for a reputable company or institution for three years in accounting, auditing, cash processing, or any similar role
Junior Translator –
(i) A master’s degree in Hindi from an accredited university where English is either a required or elective course or is used as the language of assessment at the degree level; or
(ii) A Master’s Degree in English from an accredited university with Hindi as an elective or required course or as the language of assessment at the degree level; or
(iii) A master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English from an accredited university, with Hindi as the primary language and English as the language of instruction, as an elective or required subject, or for degree-level exams; or
(iv) a master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English from an accredited university, with Hindi and English either required or elective, or both as a medium of examination and one as required or elective at the degree level.
(v) a master’s degree in a subject other than Hindi or English from an accredited university, with Hindi and English as required or elective courses, or both as examination languages and one as a required or elective subject at the degree level; or
(vi) a recognized diploma or certificate course in translating from Hindi to English and vice versa, or two years of experience translating from Hindi to English and vice versa in the Central or State Government, including Government of India Undertaking.
Senior Draughtsman –
(i) Degree in Civil Engineering; and
(ii) three years’ experience in the line in an organisation of repute.
Junior Technician
(a) Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognised Institute.
(b) One year of relevant experience maintaining lab equipment at a reputable company or establishment.
Senior Laboratory Assistant – 12th pass from accredited Board or Institution. with three years of experience in the concerned field.
Desirable: Degree in science from a recognised University or Institution.
Upper Division Clerk –
(i) Graduate form accredited university or equivalent.
(ii) A typing speed of 35 (Thirty) wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi only on the computer. Time allowed 10 minutes.
Data Entry Operator Grade-II –
Essential:
(a) 12th pass from accredited Board or Institution.
(b) A minimum of 8,000 keystrokes per hour is required for data entry tasks, which can be determined with a computer speed test.
Stenographer Grade-II –
Essential:
(a) 12th standard passed or equivalent from a recognised Board.
(b) Skill test norms:
Dictation: Ten minutes @ Eighty words per minute.
Transcription: 50 (Fifty) minutes (English) on computer or 65 (Sixty) minutes (Hindi) on computer.
Note: Where a candidate passes both in English and Hindi test, he/she will be given preference in selection as compared to another, who passes with equal marks in one language only.
Junior Laboratory Assistant –
Essential: 12th standard passed in science subject from a recognised Board.
Desirable: degree in science from an accredited college or university.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) –
Essential:
(a)1 2th Pass or equivalent qualification from an accredited Board.
(b) A typing speed of 35 (Thirty Five) w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer. Time allowed ten minutes.
Note: 35 (Thirty Five) w.p.m. and 30 (Thirty) w.p.m. correspond to 9000 KDPH or 10500 KDPH on an average of five key depressions for each word.
Field Attendant –
Essential: 10th standard passed from an accredited Board.
Desirable: (i) 12th standard passed with Science from an accredited Board. (ii) Robust health and ability to swim.
Multi-Tasking Staff – 10th standard passed from a recognised Board or Institution. OR Trade certification from the Industrial Training Institute
